Orders are prepared and shipped from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada.

Processing times

• In-stock pieces: 2–4 business days.
• Made-to-order pieces: 7–14 business days before shipment.

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking when available.

Shipping destinations and estimated transit

• Canada: approximately 2–8 business days after dispatch.
• United States: approximately 4–10 business days after dispatch.
• Europe and other international destinations: timing varies by destination, customs clearance, and service.

Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by customs, weather, carrier delays, holidays, and remote-area service.

Sculptural lighting and oversized work

Sculptural lights are irregular, fragile artworks that require custom professional protective packing. The packing and handling charge is assigned according to the artwork’s actual dimensions and packing requirements:

• Small sculptural lights: CAD $125
• Medium sculptural lights: CAD $175
• Large or oversized sculptural lights: CAD $225

For Canada and the United States, carrier transportation is calculated separately at checkout where available. For Europe or destinations that cannot be rated accurately at checkout, the displayed amount is a packing deposit and a separate carrier quote is required before dispatch. If final packed dimensions or carrier charges differ materially from the checkout estimate, Niksa Design will contact the customer before shipment. The order will not be dispatched until any approved balance is paid.

Custom packing fees and original carrier charges are non-refundable once packing or shipment has begun.

United States orders, duties, and customs

United States orders are accepted where checkout displays an available shipping method. When duties and import taxes are explicitly shown as prepaid at checkout, they are collected with the order. Otherwise, the customer is the importer of record and is responsible for any duty, import tax, brokerage, disbursement, handling, inspection, or customs charge assessed by U.S. authorities or the carrier. Customs rules and tariff treatment can change, and the carrier may contact the recipient for additional information or payment. Orders valued over USD $2,500 and oversized sculptural lighting may require a custom shipping quote and additional customs documentation.

Local pickup

Free local pickup in Richmond Hill may be selected when available. Local pickup does not include a shipping packing fee. For security and privacy, the pickup address and appointment instructions are shared only after payment is completed.

Carriers, tracking, and address accuracy

We primarily use Canada Post and trusted couriers such as UPS where suitable. Tracking is provided whenever available. Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address. Additional carrier costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be charged to the customer.

International orders

Import rules vary by destination. Unless duties and taxes are explicitly collected at checkout, the recipient is responsible for any import duty, tax, brokerage, handling, inspection, or customs fee charged by the destination country or carrier. Refused or unclaimed international shipments may be subject to return shipping and non-refundable packing, carrier, or customs charges.
