Amber Nest
SCULPTURAL LIGHT · ONE OF A KIND
A sheltering form of reclaimed wood and handmade paper, holding warm light within an asymmetrical structure.
THE OBJECT
Light held close to the material.
Amber Nest is formed around the direction already present in the wood. The paper volume gathers close to that structure, allowing the light to feel contained rather than imposed.
The irregular frame and illuminated surface resolve as one balanced object.
MATERIAL + LIGHT
A warm glow within an open structure.
Reclaimed wood carries the supporting line while artisan paper diffuses the integrated warm-white LED light. An inline dimmer allows the intensity to shift without changing the character of the piece.
THE PROCESS
From weathered wood to sculptural light.
The Studio traces how an existing piece of wood is observed, rebalanced and joined with paper and light without erasing the material history it already carries.
