SCULPTURAL LIGHT · ONE OF A KIND

A low horizontal composition in reclaimed wood and handmade paper, with warm light resting across an open curve.

THE OBJECT

A form held close to the ground.

Leafrest follows a broad horizontal movement rather than rising vertically. Its paper surface settles across the supporting wood, creating a quiet profile whose balance is read from edge to edge.

THE PROCESS

From weathered material to sculptural light.

The Studio traces how existing material is observed and rebalanced before paper and illumination are introduced.

SEE THE PROCESS

Sculptural light

Weathered wood establishes the starting condition. Structure, handmade paper and light respond to its bends, fractures, weight and history without erasing what the material has carried.

Care

Designed for indoor use. Keep dry and away from prolonged direct sunlight, excess heat and humidity. Dust gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth.

Studio note

Made by hand in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. Natural variation in reclaimed wood makes every work unique.
